The Rizk operation obtained their gambling license back in 2015 and in modern day terms, that’s given them long enough to make an impression on the online community. The sportsbook is newer, however, so how does it stack up?
It’s a rather stripped-back website with a lack of gimmicks which is great but that means we need Rizk to stand up with value for money. We checked out those odds along with other vital aspects of Rizk to see if they are worth a sign up.
Sports Markets / Odds
When you don’t have a lot in the way of offers and promotions then the first area in which to compensate is with a wide choice of betting markets. It’s certainly a good start in that respect and while there may be more extensive selections elsewhere, there should be something for everyone in the following list:
Alpine Skiing, American Football, Aussie Rules Football, Badminton, Bandy, Baseball, Basketball, Biathlon, Boxing, Cricket, Cycling, Darts, Floorball, Football, Futsal, Golf, Handball, Ice Hockey, MMA, Motorsport, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Snooker, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball, other Winter Sports.
Along with that roster, Rizk are clearly a bookmaker who take eSports seriously as they have separate links for popular games including Doha and League of Legends. Add in some markets for political and reality betting and you have a comprehensive list although it is missing some of the more obscure niches.
We don’t expect to see Rizk appear on any odds comparison sites just yet but we checked a handful of markets in the popular sports and they were competitive. Football and tennis were particularly strong so there should certainly be value here for those settling in for the long term.
List most operators, Rizk list their funding options at the bottom of their home page. It isn’t as extensive as some but all of the major companies are on hand. It all starts with the main debit card suppliers and players can also use bank transfer if they wish.
As far as eWallets are concerned, it’s just Skrill, PaySafe and Neteller so we are just missing the more obscure names. Rizk also have a separate section marked Payment Options where minimum and maximum limits are listed and the good news is that all methods are free and most are instant.
Like much of the Rizk website, the help button isn’t in the obvious place. Look to the left hand side and click on a button marked ‘Customer Care’. Click on it and this will open a window in which you need to fill in your details before talking to a live chat operator.
There is an email address but to find this, players will need to click on the About Us link. Scroll to the bottom and the address you need is [email protected]
Both options have been shown to be quick and efficient but they really are quite hard to find.
On the Rizk sportsbook, the emphasis is on ranges of sports and keen pricing. You won’t find lots of offers here and that will put some punters off but it’s all about staying in for the long term to get choice and value.
In the long run, that’s what we all want as bettors. The back up sections are just fine with good help options and a choice of payment methods so if you just want great prices on mainstream sports, we would certainly recommend adding Rizk to your list.
- Good set of markets with all the popular betting options covered
- Particularly extensive coverage of eSports
- Competitive odds across the board
- Free and fast payment options
- Absence of offers and promotions may deter some potential customers
