UFC 211: Where to Seek Out the Best Offers
The anticipation is building for UFC 211 and the promoters have given us an excellent card for this event which takes place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on May 13. At the time of writing, the card shows eight intriguing match ups and there will be huge betting interest in all of the bouts in the lead up to the event itself.
Top of the Bill
The stand out fight on May 13 is the heavyweight title clash between Stipe Miocic and Junior Dos Santos. It heads the bill and has the potential to be one of the most memorable fights in the history of UFC.
A number of bookmakers are yet to declare prices this far ahead of the event but of those who have entered the early markets, Ladbrokes and William Hill have Miocic, who has the better overall record of 16-2 as opposed to Dos Santos at 18-4, as the favourite.
Value in the Undercard
There are a number of other options on the card and here is the current bill, correct as of 25/04/2017, for UFC 211.
- Stipe Miocic vs. Junior Dos Santos
- Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs. Jessica Andrade
- Demian Maia vs. Jorge Masvidal
- Ben Rothwell vs. Fabricio Werdum
- Eddie Alvarez vs. Dustin Poirier
- Henry Cejudo vs. Sergio Pettis
- Enrique Barzola vs. Gabriel Benitez
- Jarjis Danho vs. Dmitry Poberezhets
Of that list, the fight between Maia and Masvidal could give us the tightest betting market of the evening with Maia as a marginal odds on at a market average of around 8/11 and Masvidal the outside punt at 11/10 with William Hill and Paddy Power right now.
Masvidal had been struggling since the switch to the Welterweight division but after a slow start, he comes into this event with three straight wins and looks a good value option at that 11/10 price.
Elsewhere, it looks as though there could be few shocks in store and for anyone looking to make what looks like a safe, if very modest profit, will want to look at Henry Cejudo who is going to go off at around 1/3 in his match up with Sergio Pettis.
Across the rest of that bill, it looks to be a night for the favourites but as we’ve learned from countless UFC tournaments in the past, there will be a surprise somewhere – you just have to pick it.
We will bring you the best bookmaker promotions for UFC 211 as they drop in but for now, if you want to make an early ante post bet on this event, you could look for one of the many bookmakers who specialise in UFC and other combat sports.
Betway could be an excellent place to start as this bookie frequently publishes odds for the bigger UFC events and they will frequently have money back specials for bouts that end in a straight knockout or a technical knockout. Other outlets such as William Hill and 888Sport will let you use any of their published UFC markets as part of their usual deals for acca insurances or, in the case of 888, their treble odds incentive on your first bet.
This promises to be the most exciting set of UFC match ups ever with some great bouts in prospect throughout the card. If you are looking to place a bet on the May 13 event, you can already start to look at some of our bookmaker suggestions while we will look to bring you the best of the specific UFC 211 promotions as they come in.
