Holland vs England: Join Coral for 25/1 Any Corner

Attention! Actual odds referenced are correct at time of publishing at 9:11 am March 21, 2018 and are subject to change.

While the Dutch may not be travelling to this summer’s World Cup, this is an important game for both sides. Gareth Southgate’s England will be looking at new players ahead of Russia 2018 while the Netherlands will want a victory to keep their comeback on track ahead of qualifying for Euro 2020.

It could be a tough game to call – international friendlies often are – so this new customer offer from Coral, which has an enhanced price of 25/1 up for grabs if a corner is awarded, could provide the answer. Here’s what you would need to do to take that up along with our assessment of its chances.

Remember, this is exclusively for new customers to Coral so you can only proceed if you have no dealings here. Sign up is fast and simple so you can cross from here, complete some very basic information and within a couple of minutes or so you will be welcomed on board.

Obviously we need some funds to cover the bet and when you arrive at the cashier’s page there are some important points to remember:

The minimum deposit set by this promotion is £5.00 so please fund this amount or higher.

Please do not use PaySafe, Skrill or Neteller to make this deposit as they are not allowed and will render things null and void.

We recommend a debit or credit card if possible as these are perfectly safe in terms of this offer and you will be free to move on to the next stage.

Important info: 18+. UK+IRE only. Min first bet £5. Must be placed within 14 days of account reg. £20 credited as 4 x £5 free bets. Not valid with CashOut. Free bet valid for 4 days. Free bet stake not returned. 18+ T&Cs Apply.

Betting and Payment

Coral specify a fixed sum of £1.00 for this bet so stake this amount on the promotional offer of Any Team to win a Corner when the Netherlands play England on Friday March 23, 2018. It kicks off at 7.45pm UK time and if we see at least one corner awarded, it will lead to a two phase payment procedure.

An initial payment will be made by Coral in cash, based on a market price decided by them at the time of kick off. It’s unlikely to be shown on their site but expect this to be at a short odds on figure. This will come back to your account shortly after the final whistle while the balance, up to the price boosted sum of 25/1, arrives as a series of free bet tokens within 24 hours.

As with all of the new customer offers we’ve seen from Coral to date, there is a consolation lined up with this one because, if there are no corners awarded in the game, the bookmaker will issue a free bet token worth £5.00. Those are the significant points of the promotion but you are, of course, free to check all terms and conditions on the Coral offers page and please note that those free bet tokens must be used within 4 days before they expire.

Likelihood?

Betting on a single corner is not made available in the standard betting markets because it’s arguably the closest thing we will see to a certainty in any sporting event. Some bookmakers allow you to bet on the total number of corners and naturally that’s a market that lends itself nicely to spread betting but the odds, if they were available, for single corners might stand at around 1/1000.

Looking at England’s last game against Brazil and we find a forgettable 0-0 draw. Perhaps not surprisingly, England’s lack of attacking edge meant they didn’t have a corner but Brazil had two meaning that this offer would have landed. Two is a very low number for any game and while this offer cannot be 100% certain of coming in, it is a very strong proposition and it comes with excellent enhanced odds of 25/1 for new Coral customers.
